Space Wars - Entry 1

Hi there. I'm happy to share with you Space Wars - a 2d space shooter inspired by the 90's arcade space shooter games such as Space Invaders and Galaxy Attack. I developed this game for the 32Bit Eclipse Jam which was created in order to get people excited about making games inspired by the late 90's aesthetic and it is for any project that looks like it belongs in the PS1 era. The game jam takes place leading up to the eclipse in April 8th. After the eclipse, we will play and rate the submissions and determine winners. Can't wait to see what the participants came up with.
